Career & Employment Center
Part-time and full-time employment listings are available to current and former students in the Career and Employment Center of an on-line database. This database lists job openings, internship programs, and volunteer opportunities from employers in a variety of fields and with different skill requirements. In addition to the on-line database, employers recruit students at each of the campuses throughout the year.

During each semester, the Career and Employment Center conducts workshops on such topics as writing resumes, interviewing, locating jobs, and changing careers. The Schedule of Classes lists workshop dates and times. Books, videos, and informational handouts related to job search are also available.

The College sponsors job expos held at each campus during the year, where employers conduct interviews and educate students about employment requirements and job availability. The expos are open to the community and to San Jacinto College students.

Each student should complete an application with the appropriate Career and Employment Center. Applications and resumes remain active for six months. Individual assistance is available for resume preparation, interviewing skills, and employment referral.
