Student Orientation
Student orientation is a seminar program conducted before each fall and spring semester to help entering students succeed at San Jacinto College. The New Student Success Seminars include important information on registration, academic advising, financial aid, student activities, and other support services and programs. The seminars also provide a new student with the opportunity to ask questions, to tour the campus, and to meet faculty and other students. Getting off to a good start is important; therefore, the College encourages all new students to attend the New Student Success Seminars. Students should refer to the Schedule of Classes or contact the Counseling Center on each campus for the times, dates, and locations of the New Student Success Seminars.
