Writing Center - South Campus

Welcome to the Writing Center at San Jacinto College South! The professional tutors in the Writing Center will work with you at any stage of the writing process, whether you're brainstorming, organizing, researching, or working to improve your editing skills. We welcome all members of the San Jacinto College community, including currently enrolled students as well as faculty and staff.

We can help with any type of writing task, including academic or technical coursework as well as resumes and application letters. While we do not offer proofreading services, we can teach and model the skills you need to polish your own writing. We recommend that writers schedule appointments with us in advance, but walk-ins are also accepted if a tutor is available. Appointments start on the half-hour and last approximately 25 minutes. A limited number of computers are available for tutoring purposes only.
