What do you like best about San Jacinto College?

  • The availability of SJC Faculty and their eagerness to engage and interact with the students inside and outside the classroom. 
  • The various academic and non-academic opportunities San Jac students have to choose from. For example, students have the opportunity to conduct research at NASA.
  • The diverse student body that allows San Jac to have diversity of thought, as well as culture.​

What advice do you have for future students?

I would strongly consider starting at San Jacinto College. San Jac is a great educational value and will be a springboard to reaching your educational goals. Come check us out!

What do you like best about San Jacinto College?

  • I love that San Jacinto College is focused on and committed to our students’ success.
  • There are so many resources at San Jac that students can use (sometimes for FREE) that can help you achieve your educational goals.

What advice do you have for future students?

Don’t be afraid to ask for help! Whether your lost on campus or you need some help knowing what classes to take, there is always someone who can help you. Also, don’t be afraid to get involved on campus. There is RecSports, student organizations, clubs, music groups, theatre programs, art and more!

What do you like best about San Jacinto College?

  • I love the dedication of the staff and faculty to help our students be successful during their time here at San Jac and after as they go off into the work force or to continue their education!
  • Through our Honors program our students get the opportunity to do research in their perspective fields and go to competitions to present their research. Some of our students have even had the opportunity to be published!
  • Our Student Engagement and Activities department always has something fun for our students or ways to get involved on campus! Whether it is joining one of our 100 plus student organizations, getting free food in celebration of a holiday or puppy pet days during finals, they always have free fun around campus!

What advice do you have for future students?

Use the free resources given to you around campus! We have several FREE services to help you as a student be successful! As a student here at San Jac we have departments dedicated to helping you with the employment process, free tutoring, financial aid, counseling and more. All you have to do is ask!

What do you like best about San Jacinto College?

  • San Jacinto is great place to start your college education. We offer many resources for first time college students and give them the support they need to be successful.
  • We have some of the most sought after degrees and certificates in the Texas Gulf Coast Region. Ranging from Process Technology, Nursing, Welding and Information Technology.
  • Not only does San Jacinto College offer competitive low cost tuition, but the teachers here are amazing and want to see their students succeed. Simply put the staff & faculty are top notch! Don’t underestimate the power of San Jac!

What advice do you have for future students?

Get to know your school and teachers by participating in various organizations around campus. Networking is key to creating long lasting professional relationships and its starts in college. This will aid you in finding employment after graduation.
