Online auction now open for 18th Annual San Jacinto College Foundation Golf Tournament

Auction runs through Oct. 30

PASADENA, Texas – The online auction for the 18th Annual San Jacinto College Foundation Golf Tournament with guest host Andy Pettitte is now live online. Bidding on the 38 items runs through Wednesday, Oct. 30.

Proceeds from the annual golf tournament and reception go directly to the Promise for Their Future scholarship fund, which helps San Jacinto College students attend college and gain the skills they need to further their education or enter the workforce. To date, the golf tournament and reception have raised more than $1.6 million for student scholarships and programs to support teaching and learning.

Items in the online auction include, but are not limited to, a five day / four night escape to Cancun, Mexico; autographed Andy Pettitte memorabilia; gift baskets; travel gift certificates; a Kindle; bagels for a year; a Texas flag flown over the State Capitol; and much more.

“Although we would love to have everyone join us at our golf tournament and reception, we understand that many people are not able to, but still want to contribute to the success of our students,” said Ruth Keenan, executive director of the San Jacinto College Foundation.

To bid on an item in the online auction, visit The online auction will be open until 9 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 30, 2013. Other items will be available in a silent and live auction at the golf tournament reception on Monday, Nov. 4, 2013, at Battleground Golf Course in Deer Park.
