Ashford offers on campus and online degree programs that will help you reach your career goals.
San Jacinto College students who earn an associate of arts, associate of science or associate of arts in teaching are recognized as having satisfied the first two years of coursework at Ashford. All credits earned at San Jac will be accepted and applied to the appropriate Ashford degree(s). Ashford also accepts credit by testing (i.e. AP exams) according to their policy up to a maximum of 75 credits.
Students who have not yet completed a degree at San Jac may also transfer to Ashford. All San Jacinto College courses, numbered 1000 and above with a grade of C- or better, will be accepted for transfer as an elective, as a general education requirement or as a replacement for a required course. Students may transfer up to 90 credits.
Graduating from San Jacinto College with a GPA of at least 2.0 guarantees admission to Ashford if you meet all other applicable requirements and deadlines related to admission, orientation, registration and payment of tuition and fees.
San Jacinto College students interested in transferring to Ashford University should follow the transfer guide for the academic program they plan to pursue at Ashford; changing programs when or after transferring to Ashford may require students to complete additional lower division coursework.
