Training Tomorrow's Technicians Today
We offer an Associate of Applied Sciences degree and Certificate of Technology in Automotive Technology. We offer specialized programs in General Motors, Chrysler, Ford, Toyota and Honda.
The successful student will receive manufacture certifications in the areas trained upon completing manufacture training modules and self studies. Students will complete the NATEF task list for all eight areas of ASE. Classes consist of lecture, instructor demonstration and hands on skill sets.
Students that complete the two year program, consisting of manufacture modules, self studies, class an lab exercises are hired by the sponsoring dealership based on performance, attitude.
The Automotive Department is a four building complex with the latest in technical support equipment, manufacture vehicles and training aids.
Students applying for admission to San Jacinto College must take entrance exam unless exempt due to meeting college guidelines.
Daytime classes are between 8 am and 5 pm. Evening classes are between 6 pm and 10 pm. Weekend classes are Friday night and Saturdays.
