Automotive Technology Program
The Automotive Technology Program is designed to prepare its graduates to enter the rapidly changing automotive repair industry. The student will study each automobile system where he/she will learn the theory of operation along with the proper diagnostic procedure to repair a system problem. Each course will have a laboratory session where each student will have an opportunity to practice the concepts and procedures studied in the classroom.
Students are required to furnish a prescribed hand-tool set and be prepared to upgrade the required tools as the program progresses. All tuition, fees and textbook costs are the responsibility of the student.
Other Automotive Technology programs offered at San Jacinto College Central include: Automotive Technology Toyota Option (TTEN), General Motors Automotive Service Educational Program (ASEP), Ford Motor Company Automotive Student Service Educational Training (ASSET), Honda (PACT), and AC Delco (TSEP).
