Broadcast Technology

Broadcast Technology

It takes a special breed of audio engineer to work in the broadcast industry. If you’d like to specialize as a recording or sound reinforcement engineer in television and radio, then the Broadcast Technology program is for you. We’ve partnered with Alvin Community College to create a unique curriculum that blends audio engineering instruction with courses specific to working in the exciting world of broadcast. You’ll get hands-on training in recording, mixing and special effects processing along with real exposure to the workings of radio and television stations. Your degree will give you a strong broadcast background, and you’ll be qualified to work in other audio settings, such as recording studios, convention centers, hotels, churches, and live event venues.
