Computer: Desktop Support & Network Administration

San Jacinto College’s Desktop Support program provides students with skills in desktop computer hardware and software support, and prepares students for exams leading to industry certifications such as A+, Net+, and Microsoft Office Specialist. Students learn to install, maintain, repair, replace, and upgrade desktop computers. The College offers a one-year certificate of technology, and a two-year associate degree in IT Desktop Support at all three campuses.

Network Administration

San Jacinto College’s Microsoft Network Administration program provides students with the skills necessary to work as Microsoft computer network service technicians, with an emphasis placed on installing and maintaining networks. Graduates of the program will be able to administer and troubleshoot data and communication networks. Completing the program can lead to Microsoft Certified Professional, Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer, Net+, and Server+ certifications. The College offers a one-year certificate of technology, and a two-year associate degree in Microsoft Network Administration at all three campuses.
