This course describes a system of protocols for management of the pediatric patient experiencing difficulties in medical and/or trauma related emergencies. The purpose of this course is to teach professional health care providers the knowledge and skills they will need to know and perform in an actual resuscitation of a child. The course is designed for health care providers who are responsible for the well-being of infants and children.
Note: Textbook is REQUIRED to attend class. San Jacinto College bookstores are closed on Saturday & Sunday. Students must arrive at class on time.
