The Uncial and Italic hands provide a good foundation for learning other alphabets and provide lettering options, for scrapbooking, addressing invitations, and creating handmade greeting cards. This class is fun, relaxing, and rewarding!
Emphasis will be on mastering the basic steps and turns of the Texas 2-Step, Waltz, and Texas Polka. Partners are not required; everyone will be requested to change partners after each exercise or dance.

Chi Kung is a traditional Chinese exercise system that uses slow, rhythmic movement, deep breathing and meditative visualization to help its practitioners relax. Chi Kung is not physically demanding, but students should be at least capable of slow movement, standing, and sitting on the floor. They should wear comfortable clothes.

Learn to knit by completing easy starter projects. Basic stitches will be taught, including the chain stitch, slip stitch, single stitch, and double crochet stitch. Also learn to knit fibers and understand the affect they have on a project. Pattern abbreviations will be discussed for seaming and weaving. (Some advanced projects will be taken home to complete.)
