Cake Decorating

*Each class has a minimum required enrollment. Once that minimum is reached, the class is a “MAKE.” Find a class you like, encourage a friend to join you! Sometimes two or three people can make a difference between having a “Go” and having a course cancelled. Please register at least 7 days prior to class start date.*

Wilton Cake Decorating Basics - Wilton Course I

This is the foundation for all Wilton Method Courses. Successful decorating begins with the basics of organizing the ingredients and supplies baking the cake and preparing it for decorating, making the icing and learning how to use the decorating tools properly. You will be introduced to basic cake decorating by learning the star, drop flower, and piping gel transfers. Please see link below for the supply list for this course.

**Wilton Cake Decorating Basics is mandatory prior to any of the other three courses.

Wilton Flowers and Cake Design - Wilton Course II

In this course you will learn to make beautiful flowers, such as the rose, rosebud, daffodils and violets, perfect for any occasion. Just as important as learning to make the flowers, you will learn the basic design principles to create impressive floral arrangements on your cake. To finish your cake you will learn the basket weave and reverse shell for a lovely finished cake. Please see link below for supply list for this class.

Wilton Gum Paste and Fondant - Wilton Course III

Gum Paste and Fondant

Learn how to create incredible lifelike flowers such as the carnation and daisy using the latest gum paste and fondant tools and techniques. You will also learn to cover your cake and cake board with fondant for an impressive display. Then you will finish off your cake using your choice of borders taught in class. Advanced Cake Decorating

Learn and practice advanced gum paste flowers such as orchids, roses, tulips, string, lattice and lace techniques. In this advanced cake decorating course you will create sweet show stopping elegant cake suited for the most prestigious occasions such as dinner parties, quince, sweet sixteens and weddings.

Prerequisites: Wilton Cake Decorating and Fondant workshop highly recommended prior to signing up for this class.
