This fast placed fun-filled course will provide beginner through experienced scrapbookers and paper crafters with an array of strategies and techniques to take their die cut designs to the next level. Using existing die cuts and ones cut in class, instructors will demonstrate how to add dimension and design to die cut creations by embossing, stamping, chalking, painting, misting and other treatments. Bring idle products and tools from your stash to use in building your skills and confidence in the new techniques. The class will culminate in an open crop where participants can then employ their new expertise in the enhancement of their own scrapbooking and paper crafting projects.
This two hour course will provide students with a comprehensive overview and working knowledge of how to use a cricut die cutter with the cartridges. Students will learn how to make titles and borders using the alphabets and shapes from the cartridges to make their presentations, posters, signs and displays for school and club projects. Making projects look professional always makes top grades. Although the initial outlay for a die cutting machine may seem expensive, using it to its fullest realizes money saving possibilities, making the machine extremely economical.
This two hour course will provide beginner through experienced crafters with the opportunity to expand the use of their personal die cutting machine into the creation of etched glass projects home decor or gift giving. Using their existing die cut machines and the class kit of vinyl, transfer tape, paper piercing tool and etching cream, participants will transform the clear/smooth glassware and stemware that they bring to class into elegant gifts and accessories.
This fast paced fun-filled hour course will provide beginner through experienced papercrafters with an array of strategies and techniques to take their holiday projects to the next level. Using class ideas, participants can create holiday greeting cards and page enhancements for any occasion. With their own adhesive and paper crafting "stash" along with the suggested class kit (card stack and envelopes) participants will create six or more unique projects. The class will culminate in an open crop where they can then employ their new expertise in the enhancement of their own scrapbooking pages, greeting cards or other paper crafting projects.
In this course students will learn to make simple objects using both methods of Broomstick and Lace Hairpin crochet.
Learn to knit by completing easy starter projects. Basic stitches will be taught, including the chain stitch, slip stitch, single stitch, and double crochet stitch. Also learn to knit fibers and understand the affect they have on a project. Pattern abbreviations will be discussed for seaming and weaving. (Some advanced projects will be taken home to complete.)
