Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act

San Jacinto College makes every effort to ensure the health and safety of its students, faculty, and employees. The Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security and Campus Crime Statistics Act is the landmark federal law that requires colleges and universities to disclose information on security policies and timely, annual information about crime on and around campus. The following crime statistics summarize college-wide criminal activity that was reported to the San Jac Police Department in the past several years:

This information may also be found on the U.S. Dept of Ed, Office of Postsecondary Education website.

Schools also are required to notify the campus community about where public ("Megan's Law") information about registered sex offenders on campus can be obtained. A current listing of sex offenders is available at the Texas Department of Public Safety website.
