All San Jacinto College students have access to email service provided by the College. An email address will automatically be generated for you once you have registered and paid for a class at the College. The email service provides 2GB of storage, a familiar interface, and powerful security features including virus scanning and spam filters. This email service is for your use only.
All email addresses will use the format:
Last Name.First Initial Last Four G# @ student.sanjac.edu
- The first ten characters of your last name
- .(period)
- First initial
- Last four numbers of yourCollege issued G# number
Examples:
Doe.J4321@student.sanjac.edu
Poppinscot.J1234@student.sanjac.edu
Initial Password:
Your birthday in DD:MM:YYYY format. (including the : )
Example: August 26, 1982 would be 26:08:1982
(Should you experience difficulties try the format: MM:DD:YYYY 08:26:1982)
We have worked with Blackboard and Microsoft to resolve the issue of non-deliverable emails to students.
To avoid non-deliverable emails students should:
- Log in and activate their email account and perform the following:
- Change their password
- Selecting a secret question
- Verify or provide: state, ZIP code, and birth year
- Verify that the junk email filter is set to “Standard”.
