Concurrent Enrollment

Attending more than one school at a time.

We are eager to work with any student interested in higher education, including those who are attending another school along with San Jac, either at a different college or a high school. We call this concurrent enrollment.

There are a few conditions. For instance, you can’t take more credit hours than allowed by the course load regulations of both schools. You also must earn a C or better in your courses to continue concurrent enrollment.

Dual Credit students take courses that apply toward high school and college graduation and receive a 50% reduction in tuition and fees. Early admission students take courses that only apply to their college degree and do not receive a reduction in tuition and fees, but it is still a great educational bargain.

Here are some other conditions for high school students:

High school Juniors and Seniors

You may be admitted for dual credit or early admission and take up to two courses per semester if you:

• Complete an admission application
• Submit an Endorsement Form signed by you, your parent, and your high school counselor or administrator
• Submit documentation that you have met the TSI requirements

High school Freshmen and Sophomores

You may be admitted for dual credit or early admission and take up to two courses per semester if you demonstrate exceptional academic ability and:

• Complete an admission application
• Submit a partial transcript of high school grades or a notarized record of high school subjects
• Submit letters of recommendation from your high school principal or designated administrator
• Receive approval from our Special Admissions Committee
• Submit documentation that you have met the TSI requirements
