SJC Programs/Degrees
SJC offers two types of degrees. The Associate of Arts degree is for students who plan to transfer to a university for a 4-year Bachelor's degree. Many of our students complete their basic academic courses at our college during their first two years, and later transfer to a university to finish the last two years of their education.

Students may also pursue an Associate of Applied Science degree in a technical area. This degree is designed for individuals who are seeking more immediate job skills and typically do not intend to transfer to a University for a Bachelor's degree.
