| 1 | Take the COMPASS test, if required, or other state-approved Texas Success Initiative Assessment Test and obtain test score results |
| 2 | Collect copies of your academic records. Students with college credits from other than San Jacinto College should request a transcript evaluation from the San Jacinto College Admissions Office. |
| 3 | See a counselor or an advisor. Bring assessment score results and academic records. Counselors are available during the day and evening, Monday through Thursday until 7 p.m. and 5 p.m. on Friday. Please call the Call Center at 281.998.6150 to verify hours. |
| * | Admissions processing must be complete before registration can be done. |
| ** | All students registering (new and returning) must submit a copy of their fee receipt to the Veterans' Office to be certified for VA benefits. Veterans are advised to seek counseling from the veterans' advisor prior to registering. |
