| Senior Citizen Discount | |
| Senior citizens ages 65 or older who register for classes at San Jacinto College can have the cost of tuition waived for up to six semester hours of credit classes per semester. Fees and out-of-district charges will still be applicable. If a senior citizen enrolls in more than six hours, they will be charged the normal tuition rate for the additional hours. | |

San Jacinto College’s continuing education program offers a variety of learning experiences geared toward assisting students get the most out of their college experience. Throughout the year, the program offers seminars, workshops, institutes and conferences in several formats including day, evening, weekend and online.

We have an even greater stake in the community. With extension centers strategically located in the college's service area, residents have the opportunity to receive an education without having to travel outside their neighborhoods. These centers have been placed in locations such as shopping malls, high schools, and office buildings. At these centers, residents living within proximity of the college can attend credit and non-credit classes, receive certificates and degrees. |
