Special Collections: North
The Texana Collection

The Texana Collection is housed in a separate room on the second floor of the Dr. Edwin E. Lehr Library. Contained in the collection are books and other items on Texas and local history, including old and rare books, periodicals, autographed books and photos, maps, memorial books, census data, genealogical information and other interesting items. Because of the uniqueness of many of the items in the collection, the room is kept locked except when it is in use. Patrons who wish to work in the Texana Room need only ask a librarian for admittance.

Books and other items in the Texana Collection are not checked out. They are available for use only in the library.
