Up to fifteen days of military pay per fiscal year will be paid to employees called to active duty for training or other purposes. Military leave need not be consecutive and will be paid in addition to any other paid leaves the employee may be entitled to. The rights of employees who are members of the National Guard or Reserve are detailed in the "Uniformed Services Employment and Re-employment Rights Act of 1994" (http://dol.gov/vets/public/whaqtsnew/uguide.pdf). Advanced notice of military service is required, except when military necessity prevents the giving of notice; or the giving of notice is otherwise impossible or unreasonable.
