San Jacinto College to host reception for Veterans

PASADENA, Texas – San Jacinto College will host a reception at each of its three campuses for Veterans and their families on Tuesday, April 7, 2009, from 6 p.m to 8 p.m.

The event will introduce Veterans, their families, and friends, to the services available to them at San Jacinto College. Representatives from financial aid, counseling, advising and student services will be on hand to answer questions and speak about the College.

The reception will take place simultaneously on each campus. The event will be held at the Central campus in the Kaleidoscope Room of the Interactive Learning Center, located at 8060 Spencer Highway in Pasadena. At the North campus, the reception will be in the lobby of the Charles Grant Fine Arts Center, located at 5800 Uvalde Road in Houston. The South campus reception will be held in the lobby of the Student Center, located at 13735 Beamer Road in Houston.

San Jacinto College serves more than 24,500 students in over 140 degrees and certificates in university transfer and technical programs.
