Open house set for new pastry chef program

San Jacinto College North’s culinary arts department will host a free open house to introduce its new pastry chef program. The new program will offer classes at the North campus beginning in the Fall 2010 term, which begins Aug. 23. Registration for the Fall semester is now under way. The pastry chef open house event will be held Aug. 11 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., in the Chablis dining room.
