Yes, you can do this!

Hello and thank you for considering the Honors Program at San Jacinto College. Students often wonder if they can successfully “do” honors, either because they have other obligations or because they have preconceived notions of what is involved in being a part of the Honors Program. My answer to this question is unequivocally, YES! You can do this.

If you are the type of student who has the self-discipline to achieve a 3.25 cumulative GPA; if you are the type of student who would like have an edge as you apply to four-year institutions or positions in the workforce; if you are the type of student who would like to be engaged and take ownership of your academic goals, if you continue to seek intellectual challenges…then the SJC Honors Program is a fit with your educational goals.
