SJC receives large equipment donation from Texas Chiropractic College

San Jacinto College (SJC) Central campus is the recipient of a large microbiology equipment donation, courtesy of Texas Chiropractic College (TCC).

As a result of restructuring curriculum, the lab associated with a TCC microbiology course was eliminated, which allowed for the donation of thousands of items, such as test tubes, racks, trays, incubators, culture counters, cabinets, wash bottles, dropper bottles, specimen bowls, and reagents. Dr. Martha Friesen, professor in the division of basic sciences who teaches microbiology, had accumulated much of the materials and equipment throughout 11 years of instruction at TCC.
