San Jac students receive scholarships for completing course evaluations
Andrea Vasquez-- February 7, 2012
PASADENA, Texas — San Jacinto College (SJC) students Adriana Anguiano, Jennifer Morales, and Quintin Lee were each awarded a $500 scholarship from the SJC Foundation for simply filling out their course evaluations at the end of the semester. As part of a research initiative from the College’s Achieving Strategic Planning Institutional Research Effectiveness (aSPIRE) Office, students are sent a Student Survey of Instruction (SSOI) to their SJC email accounts at the end of each semester. Those who complete and submit their online course evaluation surveys are automatically put in a random drawing for a $500 scholarship.
