Flavien Davis headed to Montana State University

PASADENA, Texas — San Jacinto College (SJC) sophomore men's basketball player Flavien Davis has signed a National Letter of Intent to continue his education and basketball career at Montana State University.

The first-team All-Region XIV selection from Milwaukee, Wisc., averaged 15.4 points per game and led the team in rebounds with a mark of 7.6 per game during the 2011-2012 season. Men's Basketball Head Coach Jacob Wonders said Davis played a large role in the team’s 52-11 record during his two seasons at sanjac.

"He was a two-time All-Region performer in what some believe is from top to bottom the most competitive junior college league in the country," said Wonders. "He is willing to give himself up for the good of the team, and that is contagious. I look for Flavien to continue to be successful and be a key part of the program at Montana State University."

The SJC 2011-2012 men's basketball team finished the season with a 23-7 overall record and a third place finish in the Region XIV conference play.
