Public invited to Adult Learning Institute open house May 17

PASADENA, Texas — Those who are interested in leisure learning courses at San Jacinto College (SJC) are invited to attend an open house on May 17

The event will begin at 4 p.m. at the Central Campus Interactive Learning Center in the Kaleidoscope Room. The campus is located at 8060 Spencer Highway in Pasadena.

Attendees will learn about the College's Adult Learning Institute and its high quality and affordable educational opportunities for community members. Instructors will demonstrate and talk about the variety of leisure learning courses, and light refreshments and door prizes will also be available.

The Continuing and Professional Development division at SJC has developed more than 40 course options that are meant to balance one's life from the day-to-day stresses. Courses range from such areas as dance and martial arts to scrapbooking, retirement, and motorcycle riding.
