San Jacinto College Central recognizes outstanding student achievement for 2011-2012

PASADENA, Texas — San Jacinto College (SJC) Central Campus recently recognized students who excelled in a variety of academic, athletic, and student life achievements.

Clerissa Hadley, who graduated with her Associate of Science in Biotechnology in December 2011, received this year's Outstanding Student Leader Award. As Phi Theta Kappa president, Hadley worked diligently to bring the SJC chapter to a five star excellence rating, resulting in the Outstanding Student Organization Award for 2012 and Texas Region Phi Theta Kappa District IV Award. She plans to further her studies at Texas Woman's University and receive her Bachelors of Science in Medical Technology.

Athletics

  • Volleyball Athlete of the Year: Jazmine Green
