Meet the Staff

Amanda Rose, Coordinator of Student Life

Amanda earned her BA in Exercise Science and Physical Education, and M.A. in Administration from McDaniel College (formerly Western Maryland College), where she served in the areas of Residence Life and Student Activities for 10 years, before assuming her position as a Student Life Coordinator at San Jacinto College in the Fall of 2009. In addition to her fulfilling her role as a Student Life Coordinator, she is an adjunct GUST instructor, serves on the Council for Diversity and Inclusivity and is currently the President of the Texas Junior College Student Government Association Advisor’s Association.

Blaine Ganter, Administrative Assistant

Blaine earned his B.A. in English, and M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction from Sam Houston State University, before taking up his position as the Administrative Assistant for the Office of Student Life at San Jacinto Community College Central Campus in late 2011. In addition to supporting the functions of Student Life, Blaine is an advisor for the Anime Club at central campus, and adjunct education instructor.

Angie Langdon, Part-Time Assistant

Angie became involved with the Office of Student Life, while working on her A.A. in Behavioral Science, and serving in various leadership positions of Phi Theta Kappa, Student Government Association, Psychology Club, and the Math Club. She became a part time employee of the office in 2010, where she has remained since the completion of her degree in late 2011. She looks to continue the pursuit of a Bachelor’s degree in the near future.
