Satisfy the sweet tooth at upcoming cupcake camp

PASADENA, Texas — Want to cash in at the next bake sale? San Jacinto College is hosting a cupcake camp in August to teach bakers how to frost the perfect petite cake.

The camp will be held from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m., on Aug. 7 at the College's North Campus, located at 5800 Uvalde Road in Houston. Campers will learn how to decorate cupcakes like the pros and use new tricks of the trade in the baking world.

Cupcake camp is open to everyone ages 9 and older. A parent or guardian must accompany participates younger than 11. Registration is $61. Participants must bring a dozen cupcakes to class. To register, call 281-459-7119.
