Houston Dynamo mini soccer festival coming to San Jacinto College

HOUSTON – The Houston Dynamo Street Team and Dynamo Girls will be on hand as the San Jacinto College men’s soccer team takes on instate rival Tyler Junior College Friday, Sept. 7, 2012.
From 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., there will be activities for children, including Dynamo inflatables and giveaways. The Dynamo Girls will be available for photos from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Kick-off against Tyler Junior College is slated for 7 p.m.
The first 100 people to the game will receive a free ticket to watch the Dynamo take on the New England Revolution, Saturday, Sept. 29 at 7:30 p.m., at BBVA Compass Stadium. The San Jacinto College South Campus student life office will also provide snow cones, and the first 25 people to correctly answer a trivia question posted that evening on the San Jacinto College Facebook and Twitter sites will win a free T-shirt / cap combo.
The men’s soccer team plays on the soccer field at the San Jacinto College South Campus located at 13735 Beamer Road in Houston.
The San Jacinto College men’s soccer team opened the 2012 season at 1-1 with a loss to third-ranked Darton College and a win over Richland College. Up next is Jefferson County Community College and Cloud County Community College at the Tyler Junior College Apache Invitational this weekend.
