Albemarle donates $12,000 for student scholarships

PASADENA, Texas – Karen Bounds (left), Human Resources Technician with the Albemarle Corporation, presented a check from the Albemarle Foundation for $12,000 to San Jacinto College Chancellor Dr. Brenda Hellyer (right), and San Jacinto College Foundation Executive Director Ruth Keenan (center), at Monday night’s Board of Trustees meeting.
The donation from proceeds of the annual Albemarle golf tournament will benefit San Jacinto College students through the Promise for Their Future scholarship fund.
