National Public Radio program host, Dr. John Lienhard, to present at Engineering Day

PASADENA, Texas – Dr. John H. Lienhard, author and voice of the national program "The Engines of our Ingenuity," will speak at this year's Engineering Day at San Jacinto College on Nov. 15.

Well known for his research in thermal sciences, Lienhard is professor emeritus of mechanical engineering and history at the University of Houston. He is an honorary member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers and a member of the National Academy of Engineering.

Engineering Day, sponsored by the San Jacinto College Central Campus math department, will be held in the foyer of the new science building from 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. The event will feature activities and information on careers in engineering and university representatives.
