Town hall meeting regarding school safety to be held at San Jacinto College

PASADENA, Texas – Sheriff Adrian Garcia and the Harris County Sheriff’s Office will host a town hall meeting at the San Jacinto College North Campus on Jan. 24 to discuss school safety.
The public is invited to attend and listen to an agenda on achieving safety in Harris County schools, as well as ask questions. Guests will include Congressman Gene Green, State Rep. Ana E. Hernandez, officials from the Mental Health America of Greater Houston, San Jacinto College Chief of Police William Taylor, the Houston Independent School District (ISD) Chief of Police, the Galena Park ISD Chief of Police, an official from the Sheldon ISD Police, and an official from Constable Ken Jones’ Office.
The meeting begins at 6 p.m. in the Grants Fine Arts Center. San Jacinto College North Campus is located at 5800 Uvalde Road in Houston.
