Job fair for San Jacinto College students and community

HOUSTON – The San Jacinto College South Campus career and employment center will host a job fair on Wednesday, March 6.
The job fair is open to all San Jacinto College students and the public. Representatives from Burnett Staffing Specialists, Center of Reproductive Medicine, Certified Companies, Inc., Clean Harbors Environmental Services, Dashiell Corporation, Enterprise Products Company, Genan, Inc., Harris County Public Health & Environmental Services, Noltex LLC, Space Center Houston, The Detering Company, and Walgreens will be in attendance. Other companies representing childcare, construction, retail, customer service, banking, not-for-profit, health services, health care, food service, manufacturing, and more will also be present.
Participants are asked to dress for success and come prepared with updated resumes. San Jacinto College students that need help with building or updating a resume can make an appointment with a career and employment staff member for tips on using Optimal Resume, an online career management tool that allows the user to build a resume, create a cover letter, portfolio, interview preparation, and more.
The job fair will take place Wednesday, March 6, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., in the South Campus Welcome Center (building 6). The South Campus is located at 13735 Beamer Road in Houston. For questions and more information on San Jacinto College career and employment services, call 281-922-3488.
