Alumni
Many students have gone on to find success after attending classes at San Jacinto College. Some have achieved success on a global stage. Andy Pettitte and Roger Clemens both pitched for the San Jac North Gators before winning World Series titles with the New York Yankees. Currently, they play for the Houston Astros. Sam Cassell shot hoops with the San Jac Ravens before earned two championship rings with the Houston Rockets. He is now with the Minnesota Timberwolves. Houston Rockets starter Steve Francis also played basketball as a Raven. Actor Patrick Swayze, who attended San Jac Central in the early 1970s, has appeared in 38 films. Jaston Williams enrolled in San Jac theatre classes before he became the co-author and co-star of the now-famous Tuna Trilogy.

Many other students built a successful foundation for a successful career at San Jacinto College. In all walks of life - including welding, childcare, automotive, petrochemical, nursing, aviation, computer technology, social work - San Jacinto College has proven itself to be a great launching pad for success.
