Fall Fest at San Jacinto College offers Halloween alternative

HOUSTON – The San Jacinto College South campus will host its annual children’s fall festival from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 24. The festival will be held inside the JD Bruce Student Center located on the south side of the campus at 13735 Beamer Road.

The College offers the Halloween alternative to provide children of all ages with a fun and safe alternative to traditional Halloween trick-or-treating, and one of this year’s highlights will be a costume contest, set to begin at 7:30 p.m. Registration for the contest begins at 7 p.m.

“The annual event has served as an entertaining outing for several years, bringing families to the College for food, fun, and games,” said Jerrel Wade, San Jacinto College South campus coordinator of student life.
