Additionally, the Associate of Arts (A.A.) in Criminal Justice Field of Study curriculum has been designed to meet the needs of those students wishing to transfer to pursue a major in criminal justice at an upper-level institution, including all criminal justice specializations.

The Technical Degrees & Certificates path sets you up for entry-level jobs and kick-starts your career between 6 months to 2 years depending on the program.

San Jacinto College offers a specialized Certificate of Technology, a one-year technical degree that provides the training you need to enter into a wide variety of high-demand professions such as vocational nursing, cosmetology, pharmacy tech and auto body repair.

We also offer an Occupational Certificate, awarded upon completion of a technical program consisting of one or two semesters of training for students who wish to enter certain professions immediately, such as welding, real estate, electrical technology, nail tech and IT.

Whether you need to prepare for a career, upgrade current job-related skills, or learn a new skill, San Jacinto College’s Continuing and Professional Development Career and Technical Education division offers courses and programs for a number of today’s technical professions taught by instructors that are not only passionate, but experts in their fields.
