The 8 EASY Step-by-Step Application Process

  • STEP 1: Apply for San Jacinto College thru the Admission/Registrars office or online at www.sjcd.edu.
    To apply online go to www.sjcd.edu/Apply
  • STEP 2: Submit an official transcript of course work completed at other colleges or universities to the Admissions/Registrar’s office. You must have a high school diploma or GED.
  • STEP 3: Complete Compass test at the Testing Center located in the Student Center on the second floor in Room 4211.
    • You must complete the exam with at least a skill level of 6 on the Math, Reading, and Writing.
  • STEP 4: Come to an Information Session or see a counselor about the Pharmacy Technician Program. Counseling office is located in the Student Center on the second floor.
    • Please call 281.929.4613 or go online to www.sjcd.edu to check the events calendar.
  • STEP 5: Complete Pharmacy Technician Program Application and turn in by April 30th for Fall admission or October 31st for Spring admission.

  • STEP 6: Complete Background Check application and payment.
    • Go to www.precheck.com and click on the Student Check link and then click the Student button.
  • STEP 7: Complete pre-requisite, ITSC 1309 – Integrated Software Application I
  • STEP 8: Once all documents have been received, the Departmental Chair will call and set-up an interview for program admission.
