Introduction - Physical Therapist Assistant
Physical therapist assistants work under the direction and supervision of physical therapists in a variety of settings. Opportunities include but not limited to out patient clinics, hospitals, long term care facilities, pediatric centers, schools and home health agencies. Physical therapist assistants provide services for patients which help decrease pain, improve mobility, restore function and minimize disabilities.
The physical therapist assistant program at San Jacinto South is a nationally accredited program. The program is a total of 72 credit hours and the student is awarded an A.A.S. degree upon completion of the program.
