San Jacinto College students transferring to University of Houston–Clear Lake (UHCL) prior to graduation from San Jacinto College have an opportunity to complete requirements to earn an associate degree awarded by San Jacinto College.
Students who begin their core requirements at San Jac, transfer to UHCL, and complete the core requirements by successfully completing courses at UHCL will be notified by San Jacinto College enrollment services when they have completed requirements for an associate degree from sanjac. Students are eligible to participate in the San Jacinto College graduation ceremonies.
UHCL also offers an Automatic Transfer Scholarship to students who are transferring to UHCL for the first time to pursue a bachelor’s degree, are Texas residents, will be taking at least nine hours per semester and have a cumulative GPA of at least 2.75.
