Examples of things we frequently promote:
- Student services and initiatives
- Academic programs
- On-campus job openings for students
- Notable student and alumni stories
We’re also always accepting:
- Photo/video of students in action or exceptional student work
- Photo/video from recent events (that include people/visual interest)
- Tutorials, tips, advice, or motivational quotes
- Funny, relevant, and appropriate memes
We do not typically post:
- Promotion for events, businesses, or job openings that are not connected to San Jac
- Content that is applicable to only a very small group, or faculty/staff (these requests should be sent to watercooler@sjcd.edu)
- General information about individual student organizations
- Content that does not adhere to the College’s brand guidelines
In addition, our team does not provide the following services:
- Livestreaming
- Event planning or execution
- Videography for record-keeping purposes
- Management or content creation for other College-affiliated social media accounts
Social media is an incredible tool that allows us to connect with our students and increase awareness for San Jacinto College! If you’d like to request promotion on the official San Jacinto College social platforms, please review the information below before completing the form.
As part of a large institution, we receive an equally large number of inquiries, and it is possible that we might not be able to fulfill your social media request. Requests that apply to a broader audience will take precedence.
If your request is time sensitive, please submit at least one week in advance. We are unable to complete same-day requests for any content type.
Note: The form below should not be used for posts about events. For event promotion on social media, visit the Campus Connection page!
