Scholarships

Foundation Scholarships:

Scholarships were made possible by donors to the San Jacinto College Foundation (SJCF) and are managed by the SJCF. Foundation Scholarships are a type of financial aid that does not need to be repaid. Students will need to login to sjcd.academicworks.com to complete the scholarship application by the published deadlines. Scholarship applications are reviewed by the SJCF Scholarship Selection Committee and awarded on the selection committee’s scoring and various criteria usually reflecting the values and purposes of the donor of the award. Scholarships can be based on merit, need, demographics, or career focus.

Private Scholarships:

Private scholarships are those in which the donor specifies the person who will receive the funding. The donor may be someone the student knows, such as the student's employer or their church, or they may be from local, state or national organizations to help pay for the cost of college.
