San Jacinto College, like all colleges across Texas, requires that students taking a TSI Assessment (TSIA) complete a pre-assessment activity (PAA) prior to their first attempt per TAC Rule §4.55(a). The PAA is not graded. Its purpose is to help students understand the importance of the TSIA for their academic career and placement, what to expect when taking the TSIA , and how best to prepare.
Note: As of February 28, 2022, only the Accuplacer PAA is available to San Jac students.
