SECTION 1018. REQUIREMENTS FOR EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS PARTICIPATING IN THE EDUCATIONAL ASSISTANCE PROGRAMS OF THE DEPARTMENT OF VETERANS AFFAIRS.

The Johnny Isakson and David P. Roe, M.D. Veterans Health Care and Benefits Improvement Act of 2020 requires educational institutions to make certain disclosures to students using federal military and/or VA educational benefits.

FINANCIAL AID SHOPPING SHEET DISCLOSURE

The Financial Aid Shopping Sheet is a consumer tool that is designed to simplify the information that prospective students receive about costs and financial aid so that they can make informed decisions about which postsecondary institution to attend. View an example form here.

The Financial Aid Shopping sheet is designed to simplify the information that prospective students receive about costs and financial aid so that they can easily compare institutions and make informed decisions about where to attend school.

A personal Financial Aid Shopping sheet is available in your student account if you apply to attend San Jacinto College and for financial aid at the FAFSA website.

Students and dependents using federal military or VA educational benefits can access a estimated Net Price data sheet by visiting the THECB Net Price Calculator and selecting San Jacinto College.
