Honors Trip to Paris in May
Overview: The Honors Program will take approximately twenty students to Paris in May, 2020. Dr. Katy Rudisill will lead the trip and teach the course, Western Civilization II since 1660 class (HIST 2312), which is tied to the trip. The class will meet some during the spring semester and finish during the mini-semester.
Highlights: Students will visit many attractions such as the Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe, Champs Elysee, Louvre, Pantheon, Notre Dame, Saint Chapelle, Conciergerie, Memorial des Martyrs de la Deportation, Musee d’ Orsay, Versailles.
Applications: Applications are due by noon October 15, 2019 to the Honors Office.
Cost: The cost for the trip will be $2,000.00. The price includes airfare to Paris, hotel, ground transportation, and all entry fees. Students will be responsible for meals, souvenirs, and expenses for acquiring a passport.
