San Jacinto College inducts new members to the National Technical Honor Society

San Jacinto College inducted 75 new members into the National Technical Honor Society (NTHS) chapter at the Central Campus.

A recent reception was held for new members and their families. Incoming San Jacinto College NTHS student officers include Lisa Ann-Marie Parks, recording secretary; Carissa Lyne Aguilar, corresponding secretary; Chad Wade Smith, vice president; Nancy Hernandez, treasurer; and Cory Major, president.

The National Technical Honor Society is a vehicle for honoring students who have chosen to pursue education and careers in the technical fields. The Society allows members to participate in scholarship and service opportunities tailored toward a their career choices. Faculty members are encourage to support or participate on any level they can to help assure the students succeed on this path into excellence.
