San Jacinto College is excited to host in-person commencement ceremonies for 2020 and Spring 2021.
Due to social distancing requirements, a limited number of graduates may participate in each of the May 2021 ceremonies.
Students who applied to graduate by March 26, 2021 and all 2020 graduates are eligible to participate in the ceremonies, invitations have gone out to all eligible graduates and the RSVP system is now closed.
As you finish classes, we wanted to provide a quick update about commencement regalia (gowns, caps and tassels). Here’s what you need to know.
There will be two ceremonies on
Saturday, May 15
Ceremony 1 – 10:00 am
Ceremony 2 – 3:00 pm
All Associate of Arts degrees
All Associate of Arts in Teaching degrees
All Associate of Science degrees
All Associate of Applied Science degrees
All Certificates of Technology
9 a.m. Ceremony
3 p.m. Ceremony
All graduates who RSVP'd should have received an email with detailed ticketing information. All guests must have an electronic ticket to enter. Here is more information regarding Ticketmaster mobile entry.

If you ordered online, your cap and gown should be arriving at your home (or wherever you had it shipped) Thursday, May 13.
If you haven’t received your gown by the end of the day on Thursday, May 13 or still need to order one, you can visit any one of the bookstores on North, Central or South Campus to pick one up. Please note the bookstore hours listed below. Refunds will be issued if you have to purchase two gowns.
